It’s difficult to read the label from inside the bottle. The text looks backwards. And the bottle isn’t always translucent. Actually, it never is when the “bottle” looks exactly like a human being.
People don’t always have good perspective on their distinctive passions, purpose and priorities. So my professional role often begins with helping others to understand, appreciate and express their Brilliance. During this process, I often request clients ask people around them what they do well. The results are often enlightening, sometimes even surprising.
On a recent car trip, I found myself in a discussion with my kids about the content of my work. And then we had the silly idea that my son could make a commercial for connect2. Here he is, totally off the cuff, explaining what I do.
What’s on your label? (If you’re not sure, we can help you find out.) Share in the comments below.
I am always amazed on the clarity of kids thinking when we stop and listen. WOW! Great advertisement. I want that POWER 🙂
He is just delightful and says it as well as any high paid actor with a script. Great!!!! Thanks for sharing.
Oh, my, A is totally your son! I'm sure his eloquence will improve with practice, but I can very much see you in how he speaks and smiles. Hopefully my kids will have a clue what I do by the time they are his age! They currently think my label is "she knows how to use a computer". Not a bad start, of course.
